Former Ohio State guard Jacy Sheldon set to get signature shoe
Former Ohio State fan favorite Jacy Sheldon is learning the ropes in her new role as a rookie with the Dallas Wings of the WNBA. Now it looks like she’ll do so in some new kicks in the not-too-distant future.
Footwear News has reported that Sheldon will be getting a signature shoe after signing a deal with Holo Footwear. Holo is a newer brand that came onto the scene in 2023 after signing Cleveland Cavaliers guard Isaac Okoro.
Holo president, Yuri Vega shared with Footwear News about why they reached out to a young star in the making saying “We’ve been bullish about supporting women’s sports and changing the narrative on women’s sports and compensation and partnerships. This is a little grain of salt that we can bring to the table.”
Sheldon seems excited about teaming up with Holo as well saying “From the very first interaction, it was clear that Holo not only talks about their core values of family, loyalty, grit, purpose, leadership and being fearless, but they live it. This alignment of values with my own mission of making a difference on and off the court made it a perfect match,” Sheldon told FN. “Holo felt like a natural extension of who I am and what I strive to achieve, both personally and professionally.”
